Kill Bill: The Whole Bloody Affair (2011)
A former assassin—known only as The Bride—wakes up from a coma to wreak vengeance on her former boss and lover, Bill, and his team of assassins, The Deadly Viper Assassination Squad, who betrayed her and left her for dead. Quentin Tarantinos Kill Bill: The Whole Bloody Affair combines the two films, Kill Bill: Volume 1 (2003) and Kill Bill: Volume 2 (2004), into the single movie it was originally intended to be. This new version removes the cliffhanger ending from Kill Bill: Vol. 1 and the recap that began Kill Bill: Vol. 2, and inserts a very brief intermission to separate the two volumes. It also includes a never-before-seen 7½-minute animated sequence, and restores to colour the House of Blue Leaves fight sequence that was first presented in black and white in the U.S. theatrical cut to avoid an NC-17 rating. This unrated and unabridged version of the film has a runtime of 275 minutes.
